Lübker Golf Resort & Spa, Denmark

Lübker Golf Resort & Spa, Denmark
The courses are in a unique area, with its lodging and spa facilities.

The club
Lübker is among the most popular golf clubs to visit in Denmark, and It has around 600 members. Two-thirds of the rounds here are played by green fee guests, so the 21” wall-mounted Digital Conversion Table is a perfect fit. Lübker Golf Resort & Spa is located 50 minutes from Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark.

Lübker Golf Course is a dazzling 27-hole championship course and one of the best golf courses in Northern Europe. The course consists of three 9-hole loops – Sand, Sky and Forest – designed by Robert Trent Jones II. When Lübker Golf Course opened in 2008, it was referred to as “the best new golf course in the world” and has since remained one of the best in Europe.

All holes are entirely integrated into the surrounding landscape, and you can look forward to a break with wide open spaces, socialising and time for contemplation.

For Hans Lavrids Knudsen, Golf Manager of Lübker Golf & Spa Resort, there are several reasons why he is delighted with How Many Strokes.
The first is that one of the club’s sponsors, a local real estate agency, donated the system to the club. In return, the wall-mounted screen displays the logo of the sponsor.

“It is a very nice win-win. The club gets a new and very modern, digital way of showing the conversion tables to members and guests. And we can promote one of our sponsors, which in itself is of great value to us,”

“When people enter the club, they always ask for the conversion tables. When shown the screen, their reaction is, ‘that’s very ingenious,’ and they easily manage the system. Another benefit we notice is that the system frees up resources for our staff.”

The award-winning clubhouse, designed by Henning Larsen Architects, overlooks both courses. It offers a blend of contemporary Scandinavian design and rustic feel, notwithstanding having all the modern amenities required to function in today’s fast-paced world.

“We had a nice way of presenting the information before. We had a traditional presentation with ten framed tables on the wall. But I prefer How Many Strokes. In a way, it is exactly the same service we provide for our guests and members. But now, it is provided in a contemporary way. It’s much cooler and more modern,”
